Life in 2008

It's July 2008 - I have 30 grandchildren now. I fell in Nov.2007 and broke my wrist and then they fired me. They are still paying me as it was as worker's comp and so far I have had two surgeries on it. Haven't worked since Dec. 6 2007.

September 2007

Only one more day of September left. No vacation this summer because my husband had a tumor on his pituitary gland so he had to have surgery. It wasn't cancer but was affecting his sight. He is better now. I was busy trying to get a new job and was successful. I will be working for the county as a Children's Social Service Worker 111. I won't have to substitute teach anymore. I am happy to have my own job and work to do and can hardly wait to start. I like helping people and especially kids. A new grandson arrived in late August - Cameron Pierce Romeril - our 28th grandchild and in a few weeks our 29th will arrive, a little girl named Elizabeth Yvonne. We are truly blessed and our lives are good. We have a great family and love each and every one of them!!Happy Fall!

My first blog

This is the first time I've tried anything like this. We are the Romerils from southern California. We have eleven children - actually 22 since they are all married. We also have 28 grandchildren with 2 more on the way. We feel truly blessed to have such a wonderful family and have lots of fun with all of them. No regrets! My husband, Wayne is actually from Canada and we met in college. Somehow we ended up in California where I was born and raised. My husband comes from a family of 9 children, but I only have two sisters. Just always wanted a large family. Well, that's an introduction for now.
